Polygon Parts
Squares, hexes, flats and polygon profiles — polygon turning machines generate straight-faced profiles by rotary cutting, far faster than milling.
Flats, squares, hexes and other polygon profiles are traditionally milled — slow, and limited by cutter marks. Polygon turning generates straight faces by synchronized rotary cutting: the workpiece spins in coordination with the tool, producing flat, accurate faces in seconds at turning speed.
Our CNC and hydraulic polygon turning machines cover both rigid-shaft parts and components machined complete on the same line — an efficient answer for fastener heads, valve stems, torque shapes and any part that is not truly round.
